Stay and visit the village of Medjugorje recounting the story of Our Lady’s first apparitions along the way. Climb the Apparition Hill where Our Lady first appeared, and make the Way of the Cross as you ascend the Mountain.

Daily Itinerary 

  • Depart from our local airport to begin our pilgrimage for Medjugorje

  • Upon arrival at Split or Dubrovnik Airport, our representative will welcome you and Transfer you to the hotel in Medjugorje for dinner & overnight. 

  • Breakfast at the hotel With a private bus and Tour Leader will be transferred to the Apparition Hill. This mountainous hill is where the visionaries first encountered Our Lady. At the base of this hill is a Blue Cross where Our Lady appeared to the children while they hid from the communist police in the early days of the apparitions. Mirjana also had public apparitions at this holy site on the second of every month. While climbing to the top of Apparition Hill, pilgrims are invited to recite the Rosary, pausing five times to pray each decade of the Rosary in front of huge bronze reliefs depicting each mystery. At the top of the hill, there is a statue of Our Lady in the exact location of her first apparition. Enjoy private time for prayer in this holy place. Free time for lunch (not included) for prayer in this holy place. Afterwards we visit and pray at the Statue of the Risen Christ: The bronze statue of the Risen Christ, located on the grounds of St. James Church. This statue miraculously seeps droplets of water out of Christ's right knee. Many pilgrims sit and pray on the benches surrounding this statue. At the end of the day, transfer back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Medjugorje.

  • Breakfast at the hotel In the morning, transfer fro the hotel to the Mother’s Village, (orphanage, there is the possibility of celebrating mass for the group, there is a gallery where you can buy handmade souvenirs, grove where you can pray and walk. At accorded time transfer back to the hotel. Free time for lunch (not included). Afterwards, we visit the Church of Divine Mercy in Surmanci, There is a miraculous icon of Jesus of Mercy. In this church, besides the icon of Jesus of Mercy, there is also a relic of St. Faustina Saint Paul John II. In 1990, this icon was in the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy in Trento. Dinner and overnight in Medjugorje.

  • After breakfast we willhave an early visit at the Mt. Krizevac. We will have the opportunity to climb this mountain and venerate thatvery cross. While climbing, pilgrims pray the Stations of the Cross to meditate on Jesus' suffering, pausing fourteen times for each station at the huge bronze reliefs. Take private time at the top of the mountain in front of the cross. Rest of afternoon free. Dinner & overnight at our hotel.

  • Breakfast at the hotel. Today, with our tour leader will discover Tihaljina. Just 20 miles from Medjugorje, we will visit the Immaculate Conception Parish Church, which contains the Our Lady of Grace statue so many pilgrims associate with Medjugorje. Here we will have a private mass for our group and time for prayer Lunch free (not included) In the afternoon continue to Široki Brijeg. Here we will visit the Franciscan friary of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This is where on the February 7th, 1945, thirty Franciscan friars were executed for refusing to renounce their faith. Fr Jozo Zovko, the parish priest who was in Medjugorje when the apparitions began, was stationed here as guardian for many years and received thousands of pilgrims at this church.

  • After breakfast, we will transfer to Dubrovnik also known as the Pearl of the Adriatic Meet our local guide who will take us on a walking tour of the Old City. It will begin at St. Blaise Church, the Patron Saint of Dubrovnik. Continue to the Gothic and Renaissance styled Rector’s Palace. Next, we will stroll by the iconic Bell Tower Clock and Orlando’s Column. To the left of this column, we will see the Sponza Palace. In the sixteenth century, members of the Academia dei Concordi met to discuss literature and to this day, the palace is the most important cultural institution of Dubrovnik. Lastly, we will visit the Dominican and Franciscan Monasteries. The location of the Dominican Monastery is strategically placed at the most sensitive point of Dubrovnik’s defense barriers. Dinner and overnight in Dubrovnik.

  • Transfer to Split or Dubrovnik airport for the return Flights home!

*Occasionally local religious holidays, national days, weather, traffic conditions and other events may necessitate changes in the sequence of visits or the missing of certain visit. Though every effort will be made to follow the itinerary, however, it should be considered as an indication, rather than a contract of places to be visited.
